WENTRUP VENEZIA is the new branch of WENTRUP gallery, originally founded in Berlin in 2004. The gallery was conceived as a space responding to the young, diverse, and international art scene of Berlin. WENTRUP VENEZIA is housed in a historic building that once served as the studio of Italian fashion designer Giuliana Camerino, a pioneer of the Italian fashion scene from the 1950s onward.

The gallery’s portfolio features a diverse group of 20 cross-disciplinary and trans-generational artists from around the world. Its artists have participated in numerous internationally renowned museum exhibitions and major events, including the Venice Biennale, documenta, Sharjah Biennial, Whitney Biennial, Istanbul Biennale, La Biennale de Lyon, Manifesta, Skulptur Projekte Münster, Berlin Biennale.

WENTRUP regularly participates in international art fairs, including Art Basel, Art Basel Miami Beach, Art Basel Hong Kong, Art Cologne, The Armory Show, and West Bund Shanghai.
